P.A.R.T.Y.
Program
(Presenting
Alternative Resources to Teens) This course focuses on the
troubles teens find themselves in. Issues and topics discussed
but not limited to: Anger, Cheating, Choices, Theft, Truancy,
Bullying, Fighting, Smoking, and job readiness. Classes run 16
hours on the weekend,
T.A.M.E.
Program (Teen Anger Management Education). This course focuses
on the issues behind the anger and skills to get through it
without violence. Issues and topics discussed but not limited
to: Anger, Fair Fighting, Triggers, Choices, Alternatives,
Bullying, and Emotional modification. This course is offered
once a week at 2 hours a week for a duration of 8 weeks.
T.H.E.F.T. Program (Teaching & Handling Everyday Financial
Troubles. This course focuses on the issues surrounding theft
and stealing. Issues and topics discussed but not limited to:
Shoplifting, Stealing, Triggers, Choices, Alternatives, Credit
repair, budgeting, financial Planning. This course runs once a
week for 6 weeks at 2 hours per
The P.I.T.S.
Program (Parenting in Today’s Society) This course focuses on
issues surrounding today’s families. Issues and Topics
discussed but not limited to: Parent listening skills, Family
meetings, Instant gratification, How to say no, Conflict
resolution, communication skills, healthy families and drugs,
alcohol and kids. This course runs once a week, 2 hours a week
for 8 weeks.
G2G Program
(Girl To Girl) This course focuses on issues facing girls and
young women today. Issues and topic discussed but not limited
to: Anger, Time outs, Asset Building, Drugs and Alcohol,
Decisions, Cheating, STD’s, Theft, Conflict, Who’s the Daddy,
Job Readiness. This course is offered once a week one and
one-half hours a week for a duration of 8 weeks.
Positive child Support: This class
discusses topics to help the custodial and non custodial parent
in their child support situation. The do’s and don’ts for
court, arrearage, talking the court language, keeping your
account current. This is a one day 4 hour seminar with extra
help provided if needed .

The P.I.T.S.
(Parenting in Today’s Society) program) $150.00 per
participant, $250 per couple. 2 hrs a week for 8 weeks
G2G (Girl To Girl)
program $150.00 1 ½ hours a week for 8 weeks
Slade Family Services will provide all materials, instructors,
insurance and reports needed for all classes. Slade Family
Services will also be responsible for all fingerprinting and
background checks of all instructors.
All graduating
participants of the programs will be eligible to participate in
all future classes
within the year contract at no additional cost to agencies or
participants.
The groups will be interactive in nature and will include the
five components of all of Slade Family Services programs:

Feedback and discussion

Practice/Role Playing
v
Reinforcement
Each life skills building group will be designed to be
facilitated so that the participants can join at any given point
and not have to wait until a new session begins. The group
sizes will be small for optimal interaction and participation |
